Hi, my name is Elizabeth Dunkelman and I am the school library media center specialist at the Haworth School. I have my Bachelor of Arts from Douglas College, Rutgers University with a major in religion and a minor in Classics. I have my Masters of Science in Teaching from Fordham University and my Library Science Certifiction from William Paterson University.
I love to read and hope to instill a love of literature to all the students. I am excited to introduce the students to a variety of research projects and practice in writing in a variety of styles. In addition, the library curriculum will supplement the students' academic work in grades K-8. The pupils will enjoy literterature through guided and independent reading to facilitate comprehension and higher level thinking skills. The students will also have the opportunity to select books each week to borrow. I have prior experience in Paterson, New Jersey and am looking forward to continuing my teaching mission in Haworth.
