Reading Raves

Students in Grades 4, 5 and 6 are raving about books! Reading raves are recommendations from students about the books they have read that they love and think other students should read. If a student would like a "rave" posted, they fill out a card with their name, the book's title and author and a one or two line "blurb" about the book. This is not a book report. They are telling me and their fellow students, "You've got to read this book."

Books which have been raved about have generated a reserve list at the Haworth School Library. The Series of Unfortunate Events and All-of-a Kind-Family series have generated some interest as has a few trilogies, such as The Fellowship of the Ring and the Wrinkle in Time.

The list has grown so long, so quickly that each grade level now has their own pages. Most of the books can be read across all three grade levels, so please look at all the pages.
